Men's League has a "slightly" new model for how we play out the season in 2020.  The plan for the remaining weeks of play is as follows:

Team Play May (Weeks 1-3)

Scrambled Scramble (Week 4)

1st Half Match Play (Week 5-10)

2nd Half Match Play (Week 11-15)

Team Finals (Week 16-17)

League Championship (Week 18)

Each event series listed above will be treated as a seperate event and points will be awarded to all teams based on those specific event standings.  Merchandise Credits will be issued to the top performing teams in each event series.  Team points will be accumlated from the 5 events and the highest point total for each division will be crowned Division Champions and face off for the overall League Champion Title.

1st Half Match Play ~ The 36 Men's League Teams will be divided into 2 Divisions of 18 teams.  These Divisions have been determined based on the play in May.  Each division will have 3 flights containing 6 teams that will compete against each other over 5 weeks.  Team points will be awarded based on flight standings and a Merchandise Credit Payout will be issued to the top teams. Standings will be determined by head to head records and points will be used as a tie breaker.

For the 2nd Half Match play, flights will be reorganized based on the 1st Half Match Play Flight Standings.  The top 2 teams in each flight will combine to form a new flight as well as a flight for the teams finishing 3rd and 4th in the first half and the teams finishing 5th and 6th in the first half.  Team points will be awarded based on how teams place over the 5 week period and a Merchandise Credit Payout will be issued to the top teams.

Team Finals ~ All teams will qualify for the team finals.  Play will be conducted as a team against the division while playing alongside another team.  The format for the Team Finals has yet to be determined but this is either a chance to rise to Division Champions or at least an opportunity to cash in for the last payout of the season.

Match Play Information:

Please refer to your scorecard for weekly formats and rules.  All play will be head to head, either individually or with partners.  Points will be awaded for each hole won or halved.  Captains will be responsible for gathering players league handicaps at check-in.  Handicaps will be compared with your opponet and the diference will be applied in strokes (dots) on the hardest handicaped holes.  example: I'm a 5 handicap and my oponent is a 12.  I would have to give up one shot on the 7 hardest ranked handicaped holes.
