Starting June 10th Men's League will be Shotgunning at 6pm on Wednesdays. We all will need to do our part to ensure social distancing practices around the Golf Shop, Patio, Lum's, the Putting Green, Driving Range and Chipping Green, The Beer Garden and on the Golf Course. The Golf Shop and Lum's 19th hole will continue to operate through the walk up windows. To ease the traffic flow, Village Greens will be taking the following actions:
1) Team Check-In will be done outside (either on the front steps of the Golf Shop or on the Patio under the tent). Captains or a designated team member will check in all of their players and recieve their scorecard(s) and have access to the league handicap list. ONLY ONE PLAYER PER TEAM IS TO CHECK IN. If you do not know who is playing let someone who does check your team in.
2) PLAYERS paying for Carts, Range balls or League Green Fees need to visit the Golf Shop walk up window. (Pass Holders and Punch Cards do not need to check in at window) IMPORTANT: Village Greens will be instituting a new policy for League Rental Carts. League Rental Carts will now be rented for $20 verses the $22 in 2019, however, there will be no 1/2 cart rate or per seat rate. You will rent the entire cart and have your partner pay you for half or have him pay for the cart next time. This will dramatically help ease congestion at the Golf Shop walk up window. Carts will be limited to two per team (Rental and/or Private), and there is potential on certain weeks carts will be in short supply. Carts will be rented on a first come first serve basis and the golf shop will not take reservations for carts. Finn Scooters will also be available on a first come first serve basis, download the Finn Scooter App from your app store and simply scan and ride....
3) To minimize activity around the club we would like to push players on to the golf course as soon as possible. Go play a few warm up holes. We encourage you to play with other Leaguers and play out to your holes or play a few random holes and circle back to your starting hole. We will all need to work together to make this slick. The tee sheet closes to the public just after 1pm. At 5pm, only league players will be on the course. Please feel free to use the green prior to your starting hole for practice putting and chipping at 5:45. All Team members should be on their starting hole no later than 5:55.
4) Food & Beverage can be purchased from Lum's walk up window before and during play. In an effort to help spread people out the Beverage Cart will be set up and used as a beer garden for CASH purchases prior to play, grab yourself a 6 or 3 pack on ice. The Beer Garden will be cash only and located in the area behind the scoreboard. Credit card transactions must be done at Lum's. Men's League 12oz. six packs will be sold for $11 or get 3 for $6. or 1 for $3.
5) Immediatley following play scorecards are to be signed by a representative of each team and dropped in the scorecard box at the check-in table. We do allow teams to continue play after their scorecard has been turned in. Rental carts must be returned no later than 9:30pm. Currently the patio seating and tables will not be available after play.
